This is one of the best albums I’ve heard in the last year. The song-writing is outstanding (“Unbreakable Heart” & “Healing Time” are stand-outs) and this is the best version of “Me and Preacher” recorded yet. Blaine’s voice is really what makes this album hold up upon repeat listens. And whomever Sean Cooney is, he definitely knows what he is doing in a studio.

Looking forward to seeing whatever Mr. Long does next.

I’ve purchased all of Blaine’s recordings and “Can’t Change The Sun” is by far his best work to date! Songs: “Unbreakable Heart”, “Dashboard Lullaby,” & “Where My Heart Is,” really spoke to me.
Someone, please get these songs on the radio!

This is amazing. I hope he keeps putting out more original music like this. The lyrics and melodies are exactly what you want from a Southwestern singer-songwriter. MORE PLEASE

I love this album. There are so many great talents who have to shift and flow to get to where they are seen/heard by the rest of the world. Mr. Long’s songs have intelligence and heart – because we already know he has talent. I mean, skills. Obvious MAD skills. He’s right up my alley with his interest in Hiatt, Prine, Americana, I’d also guess and say John Doe. Man, that would be a great collaboration! Buy this darn record, would you? I am sad to say that I don’t know this man, but I know good music when I hear it.

Blaine, You are the light this dark world needs right now!! You have a voice u can feel in ur soul, it brings out so many emotions and not many artists (especially nowadays) can do that. Thank u for sharing your heart and soul w/us, u are ONE of a kind. Myself, my husband & my 10yr old daughter were devastated when the other guy won the battle last night on The Voice!! We were all so excited when you made it through the blind auditions, your voice resonated thru our home & brought pure joy into our hearts & I am sure the hearts of many, many, many, more…We replayed your audition 4x & we were looking forward to hearing your beautiful, unique voice each week & now we are sooooo bummed that’s not going to happen. BUT then I found ur website and after listening to ur songs WE know u will make it….ur light is meant to shine!! Keep on, keeping on….ur time will come. Sending postive vibes to u and ur beautiful family!

Picked up DVD at Tucson concert and have listened to it all day. We got our money’s worth before Sundance ever got on stage. High quality recording that highlights your unique, crisp baritone voice. Sorry you won’t be in Phx on Mar 17, but will catch you againthis summer.
